Astra.in (“Astra.in”, “we”, “us”) explains here how we handle information when you visit our website, create a learner account, or use our learning services. We aim to collect only what we need to run those services.
Information you provide
When you create or use an ASTRA account, we may receive your name, email address, the phone number you choose to provide, and account details needed to keep you signed in. If you enroll in a course, we may also keep information that connects your account with that enrollment.
How we use it
We use this information to create and protect your account, send verification and password-reset codes, provide learner support, confirm course enrollment, and improve Astra.in’s learning services. We do not sell your personal information.
Services that help us
Astra.in uses Supabase to support account sign-in and learner account data, Resend to deliver account emails, and Cloudflare to host and deliver the website. These providers process information to provide their services to us. Their services may process data on systems located in different countries.
Our website may link to services operated by other companies, such as Instagram. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Storage and security
We keep account and enrollment information while it is needed to operate your account and learning services, or to meet applicable obligations. We use service-provider security features and reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can promise perfect security.
Your choices
You can choose whether to provide a phone number. You may ask us to correct or delete account information, or ask a question about its use, by contacting ASTRA through our Instagram page. We may need to verify your account before handling a request, and some information may need to be retained where required.
Children
If you are below the age at which you can create an account independently where you live, ask a parent or guardian to help before signing up. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us through our Instagram page so we can review it.
Course videos and materials
Course videos, lessons, documents, graphics, and other learning materials made available by Astra.in are for the individual learner’s personal use. Unless Astra.in gives written permission, you must not download or record them for redistribution, copy them, publish them, share or upload them publicly or with other people, or sell or resell them.
Unauthorised copying, sharing, or resale may lead to account access being suspended, takedown requests, and legal action or other remedies available under applicable law. This notice does not remove any rights or exceptions that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Our courses are educational. They do not guarantee a particular result, job, income, promotion, or level of communication skill; outcomes depend on each learner and their circumstances.
